The call for papers for UD2020 is now open. The theme is Thriving with Universal Design: Everyone, Everywhere, Everyday.

The theme allows a broad range of topics to be included from academics, practitioners, educators, policy makers and anyone interested in universal design and inclusive practice.

Topics can include anything that relates to the theme, including case studies and personal experience. For example:

– Transportation – Tourism and travel

– Sustainability – Recreation
– Housing – Art and culture
– Education – Sport

– Policy development – Community engagement

Please indicate whether you will present a workshop (1.5 hours), oral presentation (30 minutes), Table Topic (40 min small roundtable discussion over lunch), or a poster.

The call for papers will close 21 October 2019 and will be blind peer reviewed.

Abstracts, or outline of your presentation, should be a maximum of 300 words. Successful submissions will be advised by 11 November 2019.

The key selection criteria are: compatibility with the theme; a focus on inclusion and universal design rather than access compliance; a focus on an innovation or new process or practice; and of interest to a diverse audience.
